Delhi has been through a troublesome year with a lockdown on all people throughout 2020 with numbers of cases going through the roof at almost 3,300 cases and 352 deaths in Hamilton County as of Nov. 5.
Delhi, being in the middle of all this, is going through some tough times.
“It’s kinda crazy how it spread so fast because it was so unexpected,” Nickie Harbin, a Delhi resident said.
The virus came shooting at Delhi with Delhi’s School “Oak Hills” proposing a reopening plan in response to the Coronavirus lockdown situation.
Harbin also said “it’s like it affects everything we do nowadays, because even when we try to do a simple task like go to the grocery store, we gotta wear a mask to protect ourselves from the virus.”
Delhi officials are even saying that masks are starting to decrease business in companies in the Delhi area because the mandatory mask law is in effect throughout Cincinnati. Business owners can’t do anything about this because it’s enforced by Governor Mike DeWine.
Although things aren’t looking too bad for Delhi now as most stores are opened back up and stuff is starting to go back to normal. This has still been a stressful year for Delhi residents, and especially for older people, because they are more susceptible to the virus.
